Media Molecule Has Announced That The Long-Delayed DREAMS Has Officially Gone Gold

It looks like the first major PlayStation 4-exclusive video game of 2020 is ready for release — obviously not counting Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which won't be coming to the West anytime soon — as Media Molecule's Dreams has finally gone gold.

That exciting information was just announced on Twitter by the studio itself, which basically means that Dreams is ready for manufacturing ahead of its 14th February release date.

According to the British game developer, Dreams is a special space where you get to experience the, well, dreams developed by the studio or brought to life by other players. Just like Little Big Planet, Dreams allows the community to design their own little games using the built-in editor; reportedly so easy to use that even casual players can create pretty complicated structures — and maybe even whole gameplay mechanics.

As a reminder, PS4 users will be able to purchase a plethora of exclusive tittles in the not-too-distant future, including Dreams, NiOh 2, The Last of Us: Part II, Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

In preparation for Dreams' (hopefully big) launch, be sure to take a look at its latest trailer down below:

The latest evolution of the studio’s Play, Create, Share experience; Dreams also gives you the opportunity to unleash your creativity, building, sharing and bringing your own ideas – or Dreams – to life in the online Dreamiverse platform, all with the easy-to-use, innovative tools Dreams was created with. From games to gadgets, music to movies, puzzles to paintings and literally anything in-between… this is a beautiful playground of creativity where everything is possible.

Dreams is launching on PlayStation 4 on February 14, 2020.
