STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER Is Officially the Best-Selling Game in Respawn's History
Between Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, there's no denying that the team at Respawn Entertainment had an amazing 2019 — as the developer's first story-driven title is officially the best-selling game in the studio's history.
This information was provided by the NPD Group in the analysis service's latest report. "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order repeats as the second best-selling game of the month,” NPD analyst Mat Piscatella explained. “And it finishes 2019 as the year’s sixth best-selling title. With only two months in market, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order becomes Respawn Entertainment’s best-selling game of all-time in terms of dollar sales.”
As a reminder, Respawn is responsible not only for Fallen Order and Apex Legends, but also two acclaimed Titanfall games. The studio is currently working on a new VR project, Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond.
In other news, the Fallen Order pre-order bonuses are now available for everyone (who purchased the Souls-like title) in a free update. Said bonuses include the Orange Lightsaber blade colour, Bee D-1 skin, Mygeeto Campaign Lightsaber hilt, Umbaran Campaign Lightsaber hilt and Gold Squadron Stinger Mantis skin.
Rumor has it that Respawn Entertinament is already developing a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
