Internal Trailer for GODFALL Has Leaked Online, Featuring Snippets of Exciting Footage From PS5 Title

While we still know next to nothing about the recently revealed Godfall, the PlayStation 5 title — although it will also be available on PC (via the Epic Games Store) — shines in a brand-new trailer that was supposed to be seen only by the developers at Counterplay Games.

It's unclear who and why has released it to the public, but said trailer reportedly doesn't represent the current state of Godfall — as the gameplay footage was recorded in early 2019.

According to the California-based game studio — which debuted four years ago with the critically acclaimed card battler Duelyst Godfall is a "looter-slasher" with focus on "third-person melee action," also playable solo and with one or two friends in co-op.

Considering that the long-awaited PlayStation 4 successor will hit stores between October and December, it's safe to say that Godfall will be one of the system's launch titles.

With Godfall releasing later this year, we should learn new details on the next-gen video game in the coming months. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at the game's unofficial trailer down below:
