SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Solves a Fishy Problem in a New Clip; Wiz Khalifa's Theme Song Is out Now
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog will be in theatres in just three weeks, so it's not really surprising that Paramount Pictures do everything they can do promote the highly anticipated video game movie; this time releasing a cute clip and Wiz Khalifa's "Speed Me Up" theme song.
The brand-new movie clip showcases Sonic's first struggles on Earth — as the planet's weather is clearly not something the blue hero is very fond of. Thankfully, his new friend Tom (played by James Marsden) will help the titular hero get used to our universe — and together, they even may be able to stop Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik's villainous plans.
As for the aforementioned song, it was created by the following artists: Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Yachty and Sueco the Child. If you're interested in purchasing it, the theme is now available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Googly Play, Apple Music and other music streaming services.
While Sonic the Hedgehog is expected to make between $40 million and $45 million during its opening weekend in the US and Canada, Deadline believes that the flick could go as high as $47 million — which would be actually comparable to last year's Pokémon Detective Pikachu's OW of $54,365,242.
