THE LAST OF US PART II Artwork Gives Us a New Look at One of Its Set Pieces and Mysterious Cultists

Although The Last of Us Part II will tell a rather intimate story, it doesn't mean that it won't feature any heart-stopping set pieces — and thanks to Amazon, we can take a look at one of these huge moments; involving Ellie, Dina and a horde of the Infected.

Said artwork is basically just a snippet of the upcoming Last of Us Part II attractions, as the Art of The Last of Us Part II book will put the spotlight on more than 200 wonderful concept art and images that have helped Naughty Dog in bringing their vision to life.

"Follow Ellie's profound and harrowing journey of vengeance through an exhaustive collection of original art and intimate creator commentary in the full-color hardcover volume: The Art of The Last of Us Part II," the book's description says.

The album was created in collaboration between publisher Dark Horse Books and the developers at Naughty Dog. It will debut on June 16 — currently priced at £68.92 (Hardcover Edition) and £17.09 (Kindle Edition).

Without further ado, be sure to take a look at the aforementioned concept art and the artbook's wonderful cover art — that focuses on Ellie's desperately trying to hide from the mysterious (and obviously nefarious) cultists (also known as the Seraphites) — down below:

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.

The Last of Us Part II is coming to PlayStation 4 on May 29, 2020.
