MIGHT & MAGIC: CHESS ROYALE Is Out Now on Mobile and PC, as the Autobattler Gets a Launch Trailer
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Turn-Based Strategy Games
The Might and Magic franchise is not dead just yet, as a brand-new entry in the beloved New World Computing-created game series is out now — and while the newly released Chess Royale is not a huge production, it is a pretty unique project.
According to Ubisoft, Might & Magic: Chess Royale is "the first massive real-time 100 players autobattler."
If you haven't heard about the autobattler genre before, these games look like typical strategies, but with a twist — as they also combine gameplay mechanics associated with the real-world chess and card games.
Might & Magic: Chess Royale is a free-to-play title that is currently available on PC and mobile platforms.
With multiplayer sessions shorter than 10 minutes, Might & Magic: Chess Royale should definitely be on the radar of fans of the chess (who are also into mobile gaming). Given that your main in-game objective is staying alive by defeating other 99 combatants, those who have had the chance to play Tetris 99 or any other battle royale game ever made may also want to keep an eye on Chess Royale.
Celebrating Chess Royale's launch, Ubisoft has released an all-new trailer for the game. Check it out:
