ODDWORLD: MUNCH'S ODDYSEE HD Is on Its Way to Nintendo Switch According to the ESRB
The good people at the Entertainment Software Rating Board have seemingly spoiled yet another surprise, as it's almost certain that Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD will be one of the three Oddworld games that will debut on Nintendo Switch in 2020.
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD has recently received a "T for Teen" rating on the ESRB website, basically confirming that the remaster of the third (chronologically) Oddworld is on its way to Nintendo's hit console.
Considering that developer Oddworld Inhabitants has already revealed that three Oddworld games will be released on Nintendo Switch at different points in 2020 — with Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD available now on the eShop for $29,99 — only one of the three previously announced titles is a mystery.
While it's nothing official, it's rather safe to say that the third Oddworld video game to debut in 2020 on the Switch will be Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, a full remake of the first title in the series, 1997's Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
As a reminder, Oddworld Inhabitants's Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD is out now on PS3 and PS Vita.
Players guide Mudokon champion Abe, and his aquatic Gabbit partner Munch, in Oddworld's third adventure, using special psychic powers, cool power-ups, and other special abilities to deliver payback as they reclaim the last gabbit eggs on Oddworld, which have been packaged in a can of gabbiar.
Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is currently available for Xbox, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, iOS, Android, OS X and PC (via Steam and GOG).
