ORI AND THE WILL OF THE WISPS Has Gone Gold, as the Game Arrives on Xbox One and PC Next Month

Fans of 2015's Ori and the Blind Forest can finally rest easy, as the upcoming sequel to one of the best-reviewed Xbox One video games available on the market definitely won't be pushed back from its current March 11th release date. As a reminder, Ori and the Will of the Wisps was supposed to launch next Tuesday.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps has officially gone gold, which means that the platformer is ready for release.

The Will of the Wisps will be available with Xbox Game Pass on launch — as the game runs at 4K resolution and supports HDR on Xbox One X. If you're not familiar with Microsoft's recent initiative, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that allows Xbox One and Windows 10 owners check out selected Xbox and Xbox 360 titles (available through the console's backward compatibility feature) for $9.99 a month.

Additionally, the Ori and the Will of the Wisps Collector's Edition will include game disc, piano collections music CD, SteelBook, premium packaging, art book, and soundtrack (digital download) — priced at $49.99.

With Ori and the Will of the Wisps debuting next month, we should learn a whole lot more about the Moon Studios-created video game in the coming weeks.
