Peter Parker Stands Tall on a Brand-New Limited Poster for Insomniac Games' MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN

Marvel's Spider-Man may have been released a year and a half ago, but there's no denying that many fans of the PlayStation 4-exclusive title are still thinking about the acclaimed Insomniac Games-developed sandbox.

Artist Chun Lo seems to be a passionate fan of the game, as the designer recently shared his take on Spider-Man — in the form of a truly beautiful poster — on his Twitter account. Moreover, it's not just some ordinary artwork, but part of a limited run of 250 pieces licensed by Marvel and published by Plush Art Club.

The poster puts the spotlight on two new suits that made their debut in Marvel's Spider-Man: Peter's final costume — created to help him battle Doctor Otto Octavius — and the Advanced Suit with the white logo.

For the piece, I really wanted to emphasise one of the most impactful moments of the game for me,” Lo said in an interview with Gizmodo. “In the ultimate confrontation of the game, Peter is faced against Doctor Octavius in one of the coolest video gaming sequences I’ve seen in a while. Now this certainly isn’t an odd occurrence for those that know the source material, but in this universe the two had a very close and trusting bond working together and helping those in need.”

"By the end of the confrontation you could see just how much this betrayal rips and tears into Peter, both figuratively and physically,” Lo added. “I really wanted to capture that torn moment and tense energy in the illustration as well as reference the Amazing Spider-Man movie poster which I was fond of. Also going to be honest, ever since I saw the Anti-Ock suit I wanted to draw it. So this was the perfect excuse," the artist concluded.

Lo’s Marvel’s Spider-Man limited poster will be available to order on the Plush Art Club website tomorrow, at 6am AEDT. Without further ado, take a closer look at the artist's take on the hero's inner struggle below:

The high stakes in Marvel’s New York escalate, as Mayor Norman Osborn is willing to take no risks during his re-election bid. He hires Silver Sable and her security force, Silver Sable International, to restore order to the city - which includes stopping someone he believes is contributing to the mayhem: Spider-Man.

Marvel's Spider-Man is currently available for PlayStation 4.
