Developer Team Ninja Has Confirmed That the Highly Anticipated NIOH 2 Has Officially Gone Gold
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: NiOh 2

The wait is almost over, as the long-awaited sequel to 2017's NiOh is coming exclusively to PS4 in a month's time, giving fans of the Souls-like genre the chance to embark on a dangerous journey set during the Sengoku period of Japanese history.
The game is right around the corner, and Team Ninja announced today that its next big thing has gone gold — which means that the project is set and ready to be released all around the world in the next few weeks.
NiOh 2 takes place 45 years before the main events of the first instalment. The prequel will introduce players to an all-new protagonist, who's half human and half Yokai (demon in English), which allows him to use supernatural powers for a limited time Devil May Cry–style.
Given that NiOh 2 and DOOM: Eternal are the only two major games to debut in the first quarter of 2020 after a seemingly endless series of delays, Team Ninja couldn't have asked for a better release window.
With NiOh 2 launching next month, the first wave of reviews for the title should hit the web relatively soon.
Nioh 2 has gone gold ? Congratulations @TeamNINJAStudio!
