Capcom has just announced the last feature that will make its debut in the Nintendo Switch port of Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, as the upcoming title will allow players to test their skills in the Bloody Palace in a local co-op mode.
That's right, two players will finally have the chance to team-up and annihilate one wave of angry demons after another as the beloved siblings — Dante, the series' main protagonist, and his villainous brother, Vergil.
"Bloody Palace now has local co-op,” Capcom Producer Matt Walker said in a special announcement video on Twitter. “So now you’ll be able to play as Dante and Vergil — two players — it’s kind of like if you’ve played Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition before in the doppelganger style."
The Bloody Palace mode opened its gates for the first time in 2003's Devil May Cry 2 and has been an important part of the franchise’s identity ever since.
Previously, Capcom revealed that switching weapons on the fly and the brand-new Free Mode will be available in Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, exclusively for the Switch. Check out Walker's message below:
