The Early Access Period for WORLD WAR 3 Is Finally Coming to an End, The Farm 51 Has Announced
Earlier today, The Farm 51 reported its fourth quarter financial results for 2019, and the Gliwice-based developer responsible for Get Even and Chernobylite is seemingly set and ready to release the full version of World War 3 in the near future.
After over a year in Early Access, World War 3 will launch as a finished title at some point in Q2 2020, which means that you should expect its full version with all necessary improvements between this April and June.
World War 3 is a multiplayer military first-person shooter that combines the vehicular combat of Battlefield 3 with the more realistic approach of the older Ghost Recon games, allowing the player to join the fight — with up to 64 players — in massive infantry battles that take place in Warsaw, Berlin, Moscow, and more.
While World War 3 is on the way to PC, The Farm 51 is still considering developing its console ports, but the eventual PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are largely dependent on the performance of the PC edition.
The Farm 51 is planning to self-publish World War 3, but the Polish studio is in negotiations to distribute the game with a mysterious "massive global entity, specialising in the online-multiplayer genre."
World War 3 is a multiplayer military FPS set in a modern, global conflict. Strong teamplay, national armed forces, real locations, full body awareness and a versatile customization system all contribute to the authenticity of the modern combat experience enhanced by other essential elements such as a robust ballistic system, advanced armors and life-like weapons.
World War 3 is currently available on Steam Early Access.
