The team at Ubisoft has shared three never-before-seen trailers for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, shedding new light on the recent Six Invitational event in Montreal, exciting cosmetics inspired by Tomb Raider, and more. If you want to check out other major announcements from the tournament, be our guest.
The first video focuses solely on all the new ways the player will be able to change Ash’s outfit using a bunch on Lara Croft–esque items, such as "Tomb Raider uniform, headgear, victory animation, gadget skin for her M120 CREM Breaching Rounds and Launcher and weapon skins for the G36C, R4-C, M45 MEUSOC and 5.7 USG." The content pack will be available "soon after the launch of Operation Void Edge."
When it comes to the action-packed cinematic trailer, it puts the spotlight on the endgame of this year's Six Invitational — Rainbow Six's annual world championship and one of the biggest e-sports events of the year.
The last video serves as a retrospective, with Ubisoft looking back at the key decisions that helped the team turn the beloved Rainbow Six game into a global phenomenon — with over 55 million registered players.
Six Invitational 2020 may be over, but Rainbow 6: Siege is definitely not stopping anytime soon, so waste no time and check out all the latest trailers for Ubisoft Montreal's ever-evolving video game down below:
The Siege is a brand-new style of gameplay embracing the reality of counter-terrorist operatives across the world: intense and asymmetrical close-quarters combat between attackers and defenders. As a defender, you will have the means to transform your environment into strongholds to prevent the attackers from breaching. As an attacker, you will have many planning options to face this challenge and defuse these situations.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam, Origin, Uplay and the EGS); coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date.
