BAYONETTA 3’s Development Is Progressing Smoothly, PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya Says
Although Bayonetta 3 was officially announced back in December 2017, PlatinumGames has shared almost no concrete details on the threequel ever since, leaving many fans of the slasher series wondering whether the game is even coming out.
Thankfully, Director Hideki Kamiya confirmed that Bayonetta 3 is still in the works in the latest issue of Famitsu. “Bayonetta 3‘s development is progressing smoothly. Actually, there’s a lot of info hidden in the teaser announcement in 2017," Kamiya said.
Considering that PlatinumGames is developing only on Bayonetta 3, but also Babylon's Fall and the long-awaited remaster of The Wonderful 101, it's safe to say that the Japanese studio has a lot on its plate.
As a reminder, Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
With Nintendo officially showcasing their biggest titles at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, there's a chance that the next adventure of the fan-favourite witch will make an appearance at the biggest show in gaming.
Bayonetta 3 is currently in development exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
