Latest RESIDENT EVIL 3: REMAKE Previews Showcase Nemesis' New Tricks and Zombified Raccoon City

There's no denying that Resident Evil 3: Remake will be one of the best-reviewed video games of the year, but Capcom's goals are even more ambitious — as the Japanese developer is set and ready to top last year's remake of Resident Evil 2.

With Resident Evil 3: Remake launching this April, Capcom recently invited some lucky journalists to San Francisco to play a little bit of the remake and its 1 vs 4 asymmetrical online mode, Resident Evil Resistance.

As a shock to absolutely no one, Nemesis is shaping up to be the real star of the reimagined threequel.

While the player will take on the role of Jill Valentine (and Carlos Oliveira), Nemesis will do whatever it takes to steal their spotlight... and by "steal their spotlight" I meant killing the duo in most disturbing ways.

Unlike Resident Evil 2: Remake's Mr. X, Nemesis is strong enough to pierce through reinforced walls. The terrible monster is not only more powerful than the Tyrant, but also way faster, which means that dodging his (often unexpected) attacks will be key to survival in the completely zombified Raccoon City

If you can't wait to play Resident Evil 3: Remake ahead of its upcoming launch, a demo is also on the way

Experience Jill Valentine’s encounter with the unrelenting Nemesis in this survival-horror classic remade from the ground up. It also includes Resident Evil Resistance, a new 1 vs 4 asymmetrical online multiplayer game set in the Resident Evil universe. Cooperate as one of four Survivors or as a twisted Mastermind attempting to stop them at every turn.

Resident Evil 3: Remake is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam) on April 3, 2020.
