OUTRIDERS: The Pyromancer and Trickster Set the World on Fire in Exciting Gameplay Footage
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
According to People Can Fly, Outriders will be the developer's biggest and most ambitious project to date — and the recently released gameplay footage from the "next-gen shooter RPG" suggests that it actually might become our next Destiny.
Outriders has been the main focus of the team at Game Informer for quite some time now, giving us the chance to learn a whole lot more about the Bulletstorm studio's take on the so-called looter shooter genre.
Before jumping into action, the player will choose from one of the four classes — the Trickster, Pyromancer, Devastator, and one that hasn't been revealed yet. While the title will feature many options to customise each character type, the first choice will be quite important, as they possess unique abilities and skills, such as "the power to teleport and alter time, summon walls of flame, or even turn your skin to stone."
Thanks to Game Informer, we can take a closer look at the time-bending Trickster and Warlock-like Pyromancer in nearly 30 minutes of never-before-seen Outriders gameplay footage (and a new video that spotlights some of the weirdest in-game weapons). Additionally, Square Enix has released three action-packed trailers for Outriders, shedding new light on the core mechanics of the cross-gen production.
Without further ado, check out the aforementioned previews and trailers for Outriders down below:
