Although Atomic Heart was announced almost two years ago, it's still quite a mysterious production — thankfully, it seems that Russian developer Mundfish is slowly getting ready to reveal new details on the studio's first major video game.
Mundfish has released yet another gameplay teaser for Atomic Heart, this time shedding new light on the developer's disturbing vision of the robot & zombie–infested Soviet Union. Considering that Atomic Heart is set in an alternate universe during the high noon of the USSR, it comes as no surprise that the title's post-communist world is a dangerous place (populated with radioactive beasts and other weird abominations).
Atomic Heart will arrive on PS4, Xbox One & PC, but Mundfish hasn't confirmed its current release date yet.
While the BioShock-inspired first-person shooter will give you the unique chance to freely explore a good handful of forgotten research facilities and military bases, the aforementioned video focuses mostly on "the laboratory of the USSR, which is used to carry out experiments on people and construct robots."
Venture into the heart of the corrupted empire with the latest teaser trailer for Atomic Heart down below:
