DUCKTALES REMASTERED Is Back on Digital Storefronts Seven Months After It Was Suddenly Delisted

To the delight of fans of the 1989 classic and DuckTales: Remastered, Capcom has just announced that 2013's wonderful hand-crafted reimagining of the original has returned to digital storefronts — this time for good, hopefully.

As revealed by Capcom on the Japanese company's official website, DuckTales: Remastered is now "available to purchase for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One (via Backwards Compatibility), Wii U and Steam!"

Although the reasons why DuckTales: Remastered was delisted in August 2019 remain a mystery, it's safe to say that licensing issues were to blame — as the WayForward-crated video game was obviously based on a popular Disney IP, with the original voice talent (including Alan Young and Russi Taylor) reprising their roles.

Calling back to the golden age of 8-bit gaming and Saturday morning cartoons, the beloved platformer features hand-drawn animated sprites that bring each character to life in a strikingly beautiful world.
