In a surprise move from CI Games, the Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts multiplayer mode is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, giving all fans of the well-liked first-person shooter the chance to put their skills to the test and stand against other players.
"Multiplayer Mode is now available, so you can challenge other snipers in the fight for the title of Eagle Eye Bada**! Think that you've mastered your loyal rifle to perfection? Prove it! Remember to play fair and be nice to each other! Good luck on the field! The entire CI Games team wishes you great fun, and we are looking forward to seeing your spectacular wins," CI announced on Steam.
Currently sitting at a perfectly fine 71% score on Metacritic, last year's Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts is not only the best-reviewed entry in the long-running series, but also a much-needed win for the Warsaw-based game developer after 2017's Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, which was a major flop with critics and players alike.
While CI Games is still trying to make Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts as enjoyable as possible, the Polish company is already working on its full-blown sequel, and chances are that it will launch later this year.
As a reminder, CI Games is also planning to partner with independent contractors on Lords of the Fallen 2.
Fulfill contracts that offer clear objectives with a fixed monetary reward and options to complete bonus challenges for payouts. With hundreds of ways to take down a wide range of targets, Contracts offers precise, strategic sniping gameplay at its absolute best.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam and GOG).
