The French publisher has released a special trailer to remind us that Roller Champions is still happening, revealing that Ubisoft Montreal's Rocket League-y sports game will launch on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and even mobile devices in 2020.
While it's not clear when the upcoming free-to-play video game actually releases, the company officially announced earlier today that Roller Champions "is giving players a chance to be among the first to lace up and enter the arena with a Closed Alpha on Uplay PC, running from March 11 through March 23."
According to Ubisoft, "Closed Alpha players will get to experiment with new mechanics and will earn an in-game reward that will remain theirs when the game launches." Those lucky ones will also be able to freely skate in the never-before-seen Chichén Itzá arena, the game's biggest playable map to date.
Visit Roller Champions' website to sign up for a chance to join the closed alpha on Uplay for Windows PC.
If you're unfamiliar with Roller Champions, it's a team-based title with simple rules: "take the ball, make a lap while maintaining team-possession, and score." To learn more about the title, check out this video:
