AGONY Spin-Off SUCCUBUS Gets 10 Minutes of Nasty Gameplay Footage Showcasing "Forest of Flesh"
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Madmind Studio — the Bydgoszcz-based developer responsible for Agony — has released 10 minutes of pure gameplay footage from Succubus, yet another horror from Madmind that will make censors all around the world question their sanity. It's not surprising given that Succubus is set in the same universe as Agony.
In Succubus, the player takes on the role of Vydija, "a wild and lustful Succubus demon." According to the team at Madmind, Succubus is a revenge story, with the main protagonist embarking on a twisted journey to destroy her corrupted kind. Apparently, she was "captured, maimed and betrayed by her own species" in the past, but it's safe to say that Succubus' plot won't be Pulizer-worthy, and that's perfectly fine.
Just like Agony, Succubus is a gut-twisting experience that definitely shouldn't be played by anyone under the age 18. People with a sensitive stomach should also avoid the upcoming game, as it features blood, tortured souls, more blood, nudity, torturer souls being impaled or burned alive, among other awful things.
In the new video, the Polish developer focuses on the Forest of Flesh. The location is filled with deadly traps and aggressive demons, so it probably provides a good representation of what the final product will be like.
Without further ado, take a look at Succubus in over 10 minutes of NSFW gameplay footage down below:
You are the Succubus – a wild and lustful demon who rejected the role of the queen of the infernal abyss. With the disappearance of the legitimate rulers of Hell, the remaining demons recognized Nimrod as their ruler, because he was the only soul who could dominate the mind of the mighty Beast. By raising his new empire from the corpses of sinners, the new king, along with his new queen – you – managed to control the chaos left by former rulers. The life of luxury and walking on rugs sewn from the skins of martyrs was not for you though, and so you have chosen a life in the wilderness.
Succubus is coming to PC (via Steam).
