Captain Ashley Nowak Faces Hundreds of Enemies at Once in Latest Gameplay Trailer for THE RIFTBREAKER

According to Polish game developer EXOR Studios, the company's next-gen strategy game The Riftbreaker will feature hundreds of enemies on the screen at any given time, and a new trailer gives us a small taste of what we will see in the title.
At its core, The Riftbreaker is a base-building survival game, which offers players a combination of different gameplay mechanics. Based on what we can see in the new video, EXOR's next big thing is heavily inspired not only by Anomaly: Warzone Earth and Natural Selection 2, but also the developer's own Zombie Driver.
In The Riftbreaker, the player takes on the role of captain Ashley S. Nowak, an elite commando who's left Earth to establish a base on a mysterious alien planet. Unfortunately for the protagonist, Galatea 37 turns out to be a rather hostile work environment, with countless beasts trying to destroy Ashley and her mech.
While The Riftbreaker will launch on PC sometime this year, the studio has already announced that it is also coming to the next-gen consoles — possibly the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One successors — at a later date.
Wait no more, and take a closer look at the colourful world of The Riftbreaker in the trailer down below:
The Riftbreaker is a base-building, survival game with Action-RPG elements. You are an elite scientist/commando inside an advanced Mecha-Suit capable of dimensional rift travel. Hack & slash countless enemies. Build up your base, collect samples and research new inventions to survive.
