Merciless Dark Prince Invades FOR HONOR; The Second Part of the PRINCE OF PERSIA Crossover Begins

The dark alter ego of the Persian hero is now available for Ubisoft Montreal's For Honor, which means that enthusiasts of the fighting game can finally wreak havoc as the twisted deuteragonist of 2005's Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones.

As promised last week, For Honor's ongoing crossover with Prince of Persia has been changed in a major way. Starting today, playing as the "good" Prince is not an option, as his dark side has taken over the reins.

The redesigned Harbor map is now shrouded in darkness too, reflecting the hero's struggle to save his soul.

It won't be easy, but players who manage to kill the Dark Prince will be rewarded with the Dagger of Time — the source of unlimited power that allows the wielder to bend time to their will and fix past mistakes.

PoP: Warrior Within fans should also be happy to hear that the Wraith of Time has also joined For Honor's roster of playable characters. To learn more about the crossover, take a look at the trailer down below:

Carve a path of destruction through the battlefield fighting for guts, glory, and survival in For Honor, a new melee action game developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios. Enter the chaos of a raging war as a Knight, Viking, or Samurai, three of the greatest warrior legacies.

For Honor is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam, Uplay and Origin).
