A New Power Awakens in the Latest Batch of Screenshots for DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT DLC

Considering that CyberConnect2's Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot recently passed two million units in worldwide sales, it's not surprising that publisher Bandai Namco is not planning to abandon the well-received fighting game anytime soon.

Although Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was unleashed upon the world back in January, we're still patiently waiting for the best-selling game's first major DLC, titled "A New Power Awakens – Part 1." To get it at some point this spring, you'll need to first purchase the game's Season Pass, which is currently priced at ‎$24.99.

If you feel no need to play it immediately, you will be able to purchase the upcoming DLC separately — but only after the release of "A New Power Awakens – Part 2," which will reportedly happen later this year.

According to Namco, the all-new DLC "will allow the fans to reach the Super Saiyan God transformation through a training against Whis, in order to face Beerus in an exclusive Boss Battle Episode."

While we're still waiting for more details on the DLC, be sure to take a look at the expansion down below:

Relive the story of Goku and other Z Fighters in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT! Beyond the epic battles, experience life in the DRAGON BALL Z world as you fight, fish, eat, and train with Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and others. Explore the new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with other heroes from the DRAGON BALL Z universe.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam).
