Sony has released an intense gameplay trailer for Predator: Hunting Grounds, shedding some light on the game's main star — and if you just can't wait to channel your inner hunter, the title's trial version will launch this Friday.
"Join the fight from 27th March (5:00 CET) to 29th March (8:00 CET) in the Predator: Hunting Grounds Trial. Squad-up with friends as part of a Fireteam and take on dangerous missions before the Predator finds you – or become the Predator and hunt your prey," Sony just officially announced.
The only thing you'll need to take part in the battle is a PS Plus subscription. According to Sony, the upcoming round of testing will allow players to "wield human and alien weaponry in this [...] multiplayer experience – unlocking iconic gear and skins as you level up throughout the trial. With cross-play support, team up or compete against PC players who access the trial via the Epic Games Store."
As a reminder, Arnold Schwarzenegger's Alan "Dutch" Schaefer will make a return in Hunting Grounds.
To learn more about the spiritual successor to Turtle Rock Studios' Evolve — which was co-developed by IllFonic, the makers of Hunting Grounds — take a look at the action-packed gameplay trailer down below:
Predator: Hunting Grounds is an immersive asymmetrical multiplayer shooter set in the remote jungles of the world, where the Predator stalks the most challenging prey. Play as a member of an elite 4-person Fireteam and complete paramilitary operations before the Predator finds you. Or, play as the Predator to hunt the most worthy prey, choosing from your vast array of deadly alien tech to collect your trophies, one by one.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is coming to PlayStation 4 and PC (via the EGS) on April 24, 2020.
