SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE Composer Yuka Kitamura Will Score FromSoftware's ELDEN RING

The team at FromSoftware may have not revealed a single major detail on Elden Ring since last year's E3, but Yuka Kitamura is here to change that — as the award-winning composer recently announced on Twitter that she will score the upcoming production.

It's definitely great news for fans of her work on Dark Souls II, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, Déraciné and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice — that's right, she scored almost every single FromSoftware game of the past decade.

Elden Ring is co-created by George R.R. Martin (A Game of Thrones) and Hidetaka Miyazaki (Dark Souls).

Rumour has it that Elden Ring's setting will be much more vivid than the grim worlds of Sekiro and Demon's Souls, featuring a full-blown day and night cycle, dynamic weather, and even revamped enemy placements.

Considering that Elden Ring will reportedly launch at some point this year, chances are that the beloved Japanese studio will finally talk more about the highly antipacited action-RPG hybrid in the next few weeks.

Developed by FromSoftware, Inc. and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc., ELDEN RING is a is a fantasy action-RPG adventure set within a world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki – creator of the influential DARK SOULS video game series; and George R.R. Martin – author of The New York Times best-selling fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire. Within the world of ELDEN RING, danger and discovery lurk around every corner in FromSoftware’s largest game to-date.

Elden Ring is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
