Tom Holland's UNCHARTED Has Been Delayed Once Again; The Movie Won't Be Released Until October 2021

In a truly shocking turn of events (you surely didn't see that coming), the long-awaited movie adaptation of Uncharted has been delayed once again, which means that Tom Holland's flick won't be released until October 2021 (if at all).

That's right, Uncharted lost its March 5 release date last night, as Sony confirmed that some of its 2020 movies have been pushed back to 2021. As a result of this change, Ghostbusters: Afterlife is moving from its July 10 spot to Uncharted's previous release date, with the movie now opening on October 8, 2021.

Originally scheduled for July 30, Morbius will now begin his hunt on March 19, 2021, as an untitled Sony-Marvel flick won't debut on October 8, 2021 (it doesn't have a new release date), with Uncharted taking its place. As you've probably guessed, the major shift was caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The COVID-19 outbreak has already affected Uncharted in more than one way, as Sony announced two weeks ago that pre-production on the Ruben Fleischer–helmed flick has been halted for at least six weeks.

Given that the works on Uncharted began in 2009, it's safe to say that this thief doesn't have much luck.
