GWENT: THE WITCHER CARD GAME Gets a Story Mode Focusing on Geralt and Jaskier's Comradeship

Although GWENT: The Witcher Card Game was originally released in 2016, CD Projekt Red is not planning to abandon the title anytime soon — as long as we're talking about its mobile and PC version — introducing new content at regular intervals. For example, the critically acclaimed production's latest update added a full-blown story mode — titled Journey — as well as a handful of other welcome features.
According to CD Projekt Red, a new chapter of Journey's story will be unveiled at the start of each week.
Journey will see Geralt and his best frenemy Jaskier (known as Dandelion in the games) embarking on a riveting adventure. Their story "comes with its own set of quests which, upon completion, will boost your Journey progression." There's a total of 100 levels to unlock, granting new vanities and other rewards.
With Journey, players will also be able to unlock even more customisation options for Geralt, including never-before-seen weapons, armour, trophies, and accessories as well as new types of ornaments: coins.
In other news, GWENT's next major limited-time event — Season of the Elves — has just begun and will last until May 5, 2020. This month, all cards in your deck will be duplicated when you enter the game.
