Chinese Space Shooter BOUNDARY Is Coming to PS4 and PC This Year; All-New Trailer is Here

Chinese game developer Surgical Scalpels has announced that the studio's first major project — Boundary — will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC sometime this year, allowing players to wreak havoc with high-tech weaponry in outer space. The first-person shooter was originally expected to make its debut last year.

"The main features of Boundary are ready and complete," Surgical Scalpels Producer By Yongliang "CT" Cui explained on the PlayStation Blog. "The dev team is now focusing on testing network connection and adding more extendable content like personalisation, as well as even more maps and weapons."

Surgical Scalpels' Boundary will be published by Huya, a live-streaming giant based in the Middle Kingdom.

Just like Bing Yang's long-delayed Lost Soul Aside, Boundary is created under the umbrella of Sony Interactive Entertainment's startup-friendly China Hero Project. Although the upcoming gravity-defying title is sponsored by Sony, there's a chance that the video game will also launch on Xbox One at a later date.

While we're still waiting for more details on Boundary, be sure to take a look at its latest trailer down below:
