Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy Will Reportedly Make an Appearance in RESIDENT EVIL Reboot

Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, chances are that both Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy will play a key role in the events of the Constantin Films–produced movie reboot of the long-running Resident Evil series. Considering that Jill and Leon are two of the most important characters in the Capcom-created (and slightly zombiefied) universe, their involvement would surely make many fans interested in the project.

That's the latest rumour to come from insider Daniel Richtman, and even though he has provided a lot of reliable information on the biggest movies in the past, this news should be taken with a big pinch of salt.

Just two days ago, Richtman announced that the Resident Evil movie reboot would be focused on Claire and Chris Redfield. If that’s accurate, then the upcoming Resident Evil flick should make those disappointed by Paul W. S. Anderson's original take on the series more than happy; shedding some light on characters that players actually know and like (no offence, Alice, but your bizarre story really didn't connect with anybody).

As a friendly reminder, Jill is the main star of the recently released remake of 1999's classic Resident Evil 3.

Directed by Johannes Roberts, helmer of the critically panned 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, the long-awaited reboot doesn't have an official release date. Chances are that production on the movie will begin shortly after Anderson's movie adaptation of Capcom's Monster Hunter makes its debut on September 4, 2020.
