Upcoming Horror QUANTUM ERROR Will Share Similarities With METAL GEAR, DEAD SPACE and DOOM

TeamKill Media's Quantum Error is a brand-new horror video game that is on the way to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5; taking place on a futuristic space station infested with all kinds of terrible creatures and deadly monsters. The Sheridan-based studio has also been mentioning the game's PC version on Twitter, but nothing has been officially announced regarding the upcoming production's dedicated PC edition yet.

At its core, Quantum Error is a "cosmic-horror first-person shooter," and it sounds like fans of Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation and Frictional Games' Amnesia series should keep an eye on the cross-gen game.

"Space Odyssey, Xenogears, and Metal Gear are some of the biggest inspirations when scripting the narrative and characters," Dakoda Jones from TeamKill said in an interview with Lovecraft Video Games.

"Playing Xenogears when I was young really showed me how you can blend ideologies together to create your own, which is key. From a gameplay perspective we are definitely going for something that is on that Dead Space or Doom level. We want you to feel just as cool playing as Jacob Thomas as you would Doom Guy, haha. We’re all brothers [developers Micah and Dakoda Jones], though, so we all like a lot of different things and take inspiration from all kinds of stuff," the artist added.

While we're waiting for more details on Quantum Error, take a look at its intense reveal trailer down below:
