Divisive BELOW Is Coming to PlayStation 4 Today With Plenty of Significant Gameplay Changes
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: Roguelike Games
Capybara Games' Below is finally available for PlayStation 4 with plenty of much-needed improvements over the older Xbox One and PC editions of the roguelike title; including reduced survival mechanics, permanent bonfire checkpoints and more. The production was originally released in December 2018 to mixed reviews.
The long-awaited PlayStation 4 version of Below is officially priced at $37.95 ($34.15 for PS Plus members).
Currently sitting at a 67/100 score on Metacritic, Below may not be the best-reviewed roguelike game out there, but fans of grim (and almost depressing) games should definitely give it a try, as Below has been described as a marriage of Dark Souls and the original Legend of Zelda ever since its big reveal at E3 2013.
Those who didn't like Below should be happy to hear that the PS4 edition of the game features not only the well-known survival mode, but also a special "explore" way to play it, offering a more forgiving experience.
