Thatgamecompany's JOUNREY Is Coming to Steam on June 11, Annapurna Interactive Reveals

There's no denying that the Epic Games Store is quite a controversial storefront, so those PC players who are trying to avoid it at all cost should be more than happy to hear that the best-reviewed Journey is headed to Steam on the 11th of June. Thatgamecompany's classic was first released on PC via the EGS on June 6, 2019.

Considering that Journey made its debut eight years ago, it shouldn't be surprising that the award-winning video game is currently playable on multiple devices, including PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, and iOS.

The aforementioned EGS version of the critically acclaimed video game costs $14.99, so it's safe to say that publisher Annapurna Interactive will sell Journey at the exact same price on Steam, at least at launch.

As a reminder, the studio's latest project — Sky: Children of the Light — is coming to Switch this summer.

Quite surprisingly, the PS4 edition of Journey — which launched back in July 2015 — still is one of the highest-rated video games available on the console, sitting at an outstanding 92% score on Metacritic.

Explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as you soar above ruins and glide across sands to discover its secrets. Play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. Featuring stunning visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score, Journey delivers a breathtaking experience like no other.

Journey is currently available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, iOS and PC (via the Epic Games Store); coming to Steam on June 11, 2020.
