SWAMPS OF CORSUS Is Next Step in REMNANT: FROM THE ASHES Evolution; DLC Releases Soon

There's no denying that Remnant: From the Ashes is a highly successful production, and developer Gunfire Games is planning to make it even better soon — as the huge Swamps of Corsus expansion is on the way to PC on the 28th of April. The DLC is officially coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One "at a later date."

First and foremost, Corsus introduces a new rogue-like mode. According to Gunfire, it will "have players start from nothing and fighting for survival to acquire unique armor and over 50 new armor skins."

As expected, the primordial world of Corsus will be the fast-approaching content drop's main playground, as the expansion will reportedly deliver "a swarm of new content, including powerful weapons and mods, challenging dungeons, epic bosses, new enemies," and "a vast arsenal of powerful gear to collect."

For those unfamiliar with the Perfect World Entertainment–published Remnant: From the Ashes, the third-person shooter was released in August 2019; currently sitting at a perfectly fine 77% score on Metacritic.

Although the expansion will launch for $9.99 on PC, a bundle containing the base game and new DLC will be available on Steam for $44.99 starting on April 28. Be sure to take a look at Swamps of Corsus down below:
