Fan-Favourite Thriller DELIVER US THE MOON Shines in Pulse-Pounding Console Launch Trailer

The Wired Productions–published Deliver Us the Moon has received a thrilling console launch trailer, as the fan-favourite sci-fi game is releasing for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, with its Nintendo Switch port launching sometime this year. As a reminder, the indie project's PC version made its debut in October 2019.

At its core, KeokeN Interactive's Deliver Us the Moon is a linear third-person adventure set in an apocalyptic near future where Earth's natural resources are completely depleted. As Earth's last astronaut, the player embarks on a do-or-die mission to solve a sudden energy crisis that threatens all life on the planet.

"Deliver Us The Moon is a space sci-fi adventure game that draws endless inspiration from sci-fi movie titans such as Interstellar and Gravity," Game Director Koen Deetman explained on the PS Blog.

"These films have heart. They feature breathtaking scenery, gorgeous cinematography and stupendously immersive atmospheres. But as we took our first steps in developing Deliver Us The Moon, we realized there was one more thing these films had in common: they made you believe it could be real. So we knew that we needed to ground our story in a realistic, plausible setting — if we wanted players to feel like an astronaut, it had to feel real," Deetman added.

Deliver Us the Moon is coming to PS4 and Xbox One today, so take a look at its launch trailer down below:
