Learn More About Customising Your Base With This New Gameplay Trailer for TORCHLIGHT III

Publisher Perfect World Entertainment has released yet another gameplay trailer for the fast-approaching Torchlight III, this time showcasing the game's newest feature that will give players the chance to fully customise their own base of operations. In the Torchlight universe, these strongholds are know as Forts.
According to American developer Echtra Games, these Forts are "your personal mark on the world. Each will truly be unique and the resources are in your hands. The interior can be customized with a wide variety of cosmetic objects. Plant a lush garden, make a monument to your success, or memorials to the thousands of Goblins that stood in your way. Build a path… or don’t! The choice is yours. Forts are instantly ready to customize when unlocked early in Act I of Torchlight III. But first, you’ll have to claim your Fort from a local Goblin tribe. Experience the thrill of your own pest control adventure!"
Considering that both Torchlight and Torchlight II were focused on delivering Diablo-like action, it's good to know that the studio is not afraid to introduce new features that could very well enrich the overall Torchlight III experience. As a reminder, the threequel is being built on the solid foundations of Torchlight Frontiers.
Although Torchlight III will make its PC debut this summer, the hack'n'slash will also come to "consoles" — possibly PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and maybe even Nintendo Switch — at some point in the future.
