PUBG and OCTOPATH TRAVELER Will Be Available on Google Stadia According to ESRB Website

Two critically acclaimed productions — 2016's PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) and 2018's Octopath Traveler — are coming to Google's game-streaming service, according to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). As a reminder, the ESRB handles all video game content regulation in the US and Canada.

Considering that Google will host its first Stadia Connect presentation of 2020 later today (at 9AM PT / 6PM CET on YouTube), both Stadia ports should be officially announced during the fast-approaching live show.

Although Epic Games has not revealed any plans to develop a Google Stadia version of Fortnite, the fact that its biggest rival will be available on Stadia (maybe even in the near future) is an unexpected turn of events.

As a reminder, the Steam Early Access edition of PUBG made its highly successful debut in March 2017, with the battle royale's dedicated Xbox One, PlayStation, and mobile (Android and iOS) ports launching in 2018.

When it comes to Octopath Traveler, the award-winning turn-based strategy game was first released for Nintendo Switch in 2018. The Square Enix–developed project's PC (Steam) version hit stores in June 2019.
