Ubisoft has finally announced the next entry in its long-running Assassin's Creed game series — titled AC: Valhalla — as the newly revealed production's cinematic trailer will make its debut tomorrow morning, at exactly 8AM PT. As you've probably guessed, the Ubisoft Montreal–created project is set in the Viking era.
According to Ubisoft, the title will take place during one of the first Viking invasions of England in the 11th century. Exploring the cold North Sea will surely be a nice change of pace after 2018's big fat Greek odyssey.
Although we still know next to nothing about AC: Valhalla, it's safe to say that it's being directed by Ashraf Ismail, one of the masterminds behind the huge success of 2013's AC IV: Black Flag and 2017's AC: Origins.
The game's reveal event was definitely a surprise, as today's 8-hour livestream was focused solely on digital artist BossLogic drawing the official AC: Valhalla key art (which you can see up above and down below).
As a reminder, AC: Valhalla won't be the only major Ubisoft-published video game to launch this fiscal year (so at some point between now and March 2021). Rumour has it that Watch Dogs Legion, Gods & Monsters, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Quarantine and a new Far Cry title will also hit stores in the foreseeable future.
