Over 10 minutes of never-before-seen footage from Alaloth - Champions of The Four Kingdoms have been released online, giving us a chance to take a look at its gameplay mechanics inspired by Icewind Dale, Baldur’s Gate and Pillars of Eternity. Considering that Alaloth - Champions of The Four Kingdoms is coming to Xbox One and PC later this year, we will definitely learn a whole lot more about the RPG in the near future.
Speaking of Icewind Dale, Baldur’s Gate and Pillars of Eternity, fans of these classic games should be pleased to hear that Writer and Designer Chris Avellone is also working on Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms.
According to developer Gamera Interactive, Champions of the Four Kingdoms is set in a rich fantasy world, "resembling the darkest period of the Middle Ages," offering "fast-paced action with a deep narrative."
The aforementioned footage focuses on Champions of the Four Kingdoms' character creation menu (which allows players to pick their kingdom, ace-specific skills, fighting style, house, alignment, deity, name, and appearance) and the fast-approaching production's vast map and the fictional capital city of Goldport.
