GAME OF THRONES' Hannah John-Kamen Reportedly Eyed to Play Jill Valentine in RESIDENT EVIL Reboot

Although Constantin Films has not revealed any concrete details on the upcoming reboot of the Resident Evil film franchise, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp, Game of Thrones) is reportedly being eyed for the role of Jill Valentine. The character was played by Sienna Guillory in Paul W. S. Anderson's movies.

According to The Illuminerdi, the new take on the RE3 main hero is described as "a small town girl that enjoys hunting with the guys. She is gorgeous yet tough, and she knows how to have a good time."

Furthermore, Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Crawl) has allegedly been offered the role of Claire Redfield, but nothing has been set in stone just yet. Earlier this month, insider Daniel Ritchman revealed that Claire and her brother, Chris would be the main protagonists of the next Resident Evil flick.

Fans of Capcom's best-selling game series should be happy to hear that Leon S. Kennedy, Albert Wesker, and Ada Wong could also end up making an appearance in the Johannes Roberts–directed adaptation.

As a friendly reminder, the movie's screenplay was written by Tony Giglio (Resident Evil: Afterlife, Doom: Annihilation). Unfortunately, the film is no longer being produced by James Wan (The Conjuring, Aquaman).
