Supermassive Discusses THE DARK PICTURES: LITTLE HOPE Core Features, Characters and Story Beats

Category: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
Publisher Bandai Namco has released the first entry in the The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope dev diary series, shedding new light on the fast-approaching horror's main themes, characters, and most importantly, non-linear story. Just like in last year's Man of Medan, the fate of five characters will be in the player's hands.
The upcoming game's premise is relatively simple — four collage students and their professor are forced to stay in the abandoned town of Little Hope due to bad weather. Unfortunately, their bus trip won't end well.
Although the group will do their very best to search for a means of escape, incredibly unsettling visions from the past will make the task much harder, haunting them from the shadows. Considering that Little Hope is heavily inspired by The Witch, The Blair Witch Project, Hellraiser, It Follows, The Omen, and Season of The Witch, fans of horror movies should know exactly what to expect from Supermassive Games' next project.
Speaking of popular films, Will Poulter (Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Midsommar) portrays not only the pulse-pounding title's central character, Andrew, but also his 17th-century New England doppelganger.
