Long-Delayed MARVEL'S IRON MAN VR Hits Stores on July 3 as More Details Will Be Shared

Although Marvel's Iron Man VR was supposed to launch on May 15, the ambitious PlayStation VR–exclusive was delayed alongside The Last of Us Part II earlier last month — thankfully, the ambitious game has finally received a new release date. The Camouflaj–developed Marvel's Iron Man VR will make its debut on July 3.

Unfortunately for fans of Tony Stark and his cutting-edge gadgets, Marvel's Iron Man VR was originally set to be released on February 28 — so let's hope the long-delayed project's third launch date is its final one.

According to the renowned Republique makers, the title will allow you to channel your inner technologically advanced superhero and see the world through his eyes — thanks to the power of Sony's PS VR headset.

Marvel's Iron Man VR is not the only 2020 game starring the hero, as he will also be a playable character in Square Enix's Marvel’s Avengers, alongside Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Ms. Marvel.

As a friendly reminder, Marvel's Iron Man VR will shed new light on Stark's battle with The Ghost, the main villain of Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp. Quite interestingly, the baddie was played by Hannah John-Kamen, who's reportedly in the running to play Jill Valentine in the upcoming Resident Evil reboot.

Don the PlayStation VR headset to suit up as the Armored Avenger in an original Iron Man adventure! Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.

Marvel's Iron Man VR is coming to PS VR on July 3, 2020.
