Nintendo Switch Port of Horror BLAIR WITCH Will Debut on June 25, Bloober Team Announces

Developer and publisher Bloober Team has revealed some new details on the long-awaited Nintendo Switch version of Blair Witch — and fans of the horror series should be happy to hear that the aforementioned port will make its debut on June 25, 2020. Produced by Lionsgate, Blair Witch for Switch will be priced at $29.99.

The game's new edition will include the Good Boy Pack update at launch, allowing players to personalise their canine companion’s "fur attributes, eye color, and collar, along with additional Bullet animations."

For those unfamiliar with Bloober Team's original take on the cult-classic movie, their Blair Witch is a first-person, story-driven experience set in the dark Black Hills Forest. In the pulse-pounding title, players take on the role of an ex-cop — accompanied by a dog, called Bullet — who joins the search for a missing boy.

According to the Cracow-based studio, the brand-new bundle will also contain the Super Rex mini-game, "which Bullet fans cannot resist." As a reminder, Blair Witch was released for XBO, PC and PS4 in 2019.

With Blair Witch coming to Switch later this month, be sure to take a look at its latest trailer down below:

It’s 1996. A young boy disappears in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. As Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, you join the search. What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…

Blair Witch is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam and GOG); coming to Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2020.
