Nightmarish Clickers Return in Extended TV Spot for Naughty Dog's THE LAST OF US PART II
Mechanic: Bartosz Sobczak
Category: The Last of Us Part II
The Last of Us Part II marketing campaign has been focused mostly on Ellie battling human opponents — the villainous Seraphites, for the most part — but the sequel's latest TV spot finally shines a light on the Infected. That's right, the Clickers will return to turn the protagonist's life into a nightmare once again.
Although we know next to nothing about the aforementioned Seraphites — at least officially, the upcoming game's plot details have already leaked online in an unprecedented way — they will be the main villains of the story, with mutated humans and animals serving only as secondary antagonists this time around.
It's quite surreal, but The Last of Us Part II is really going to hit stores on June 19 — which means that Ellie and Joel's new adventure will begin in 16 days. As a reminder, the game was first announced back in 2016.
Thankfully, The Last of Us Part II has gone gold, which means that the game is finished and we shouldn't expect yet another delay for the long-awaited title (which was supposed to launch in February anyways).
Wait no more, and take a closer look at the extended TV spot for Naughty Dog's new game down below:
Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.
The Last of Us Part II is coming to PlayStation 4 on June 19, 2020.
