THE LAST OF US PART II: Latest Dev Diary Focuses on Locations, Factions and Main Antagonists

Sony has released yet another entry in its The Last of Us Part II development diary series, this time putting the spotlight on the new locations, factions, and enemies players will encounter in the upcoming sequel.
According to Director Neil Druckmann, The Last of Us Part II will be more grounded than the award-winning original. "We want to treat violence as realistically as we can in an action game," the renowned artist said. "One example is that every human enemy in the game features a unique name, such as Omar, or Joe. For Naughty Dog, implementing this was a nontrivial task. [This was] a big effort that required not only new tech, but a lot of recording investment. The way they communicate is much more sophisticated. We do that in order to make you feel it’s not just like an NPC or braindead obstacle."
With the Inside the World featurette now available, Naughty Dog's four-part dev diary video series has come to an end, focusing on The Last of Us Part II's universe, characters, gameplay mechanics, and also its story.
Although the fast-approaching title's plot has already leaked online like there's no tomorrow, the videos are completely spoiler-free, so you can safely watch them even if you're doing your best to avoid spoilers.
