CYBERPUNK 2077 Faces Another Delay; CDP Red's Next RPG Will Now Release in November

Fans of Warsaw-based CD Projekt Red will have to wait a little bit longer to play the award-winning studio's next big thing, as Cyberpunk 2077 has been pushed back once again and will now launch on November 19.
Unfortunately, it's nothing really new for the gaming world, and even the team at CD Projekt themselves. Originally, Cyberpunk 2077 — which received its first trailer back in January 2013 — was supposed to make its debut on April 16 before The Witcher III: Wild Hunt studio's recent decision to move it to September 17.
Although the long-awaited role-playing production is finished "both content and gameplay-wise," the developer needs more time to further polish their opus magnum. Quite interestingly, some members of the press are playing the latest build of Cyberpunk 2077 right now. Depending on their feedback, CD Projekt is willing to change and fix some of the game's biggest problems, which clearly is a time-consuming process.
According to CDP CEO Adam Kiciński (via PAP Biznes), the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has not affected the development process in any major way, although it made communicating with employees more difficult.
In other Cyberpunk 2077–related news, Polish website Polygamia is reporting that the sandbox will receive a full-blown next-gen patch sometime next year, allowing owners of the current-gen version of the game to experience everything Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at no additional cost.
Furthermore, the studio is reportedly still planning to release the game's first DLC at some point next year — with its second already announced expansion launching at a later date — although nothing is set in stone just yet. Sadly, chances are that the highly anticipated game's multiplayer mode won't arrive until after 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you. Become a cyberpunk, an urban mercenary equipped with cybernetic enhancements and build your legend on the streets of Night City.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam, GOG and the EGS) on the 19th of November; will arrive on Google Stadia before the end of the year.
