Next-Gen Base-Building Survival Game THE RIFTBREAKER Shines in Action-Packed Footage

With The Riftbreaker, Szczecin-based EXOR Studios is planning to push the well-known tower defence genre in an existing — and maybe more importantly, next-gen — direction, utilising the raw power of Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PC. Quite interestingly, there's a big chance that the Polish developer's ambitious take on Anomaly: Warzone Earth will make its debut alongside the long-awaited consoles this holiday season.
At its core, The Riftbreaker is an original mix of several bombastic mechanics, allowing players to annihilate thousands of hostile alien monsters, build up their base of operations, and unlock new, devastating abilities.
The premise of The Riftbreaker is simple: Ashley S. Nowak has to do whatever it takes to travel back to Earth after crash landing on a mysterious planet. Fortunately for the main protagonist, she's an elite commando accompanied by a powerful mech — so her attempt at returning home won't be a complete suicide mission.
If you just can't wait to play The Riftbreaker, its demo is now available on Steam, giving you an opportunity to explore a handcrafted map built especially for the purposes of the demo be the X-Morph: Defense studio.
