THE DARK PICTURES: LITTLE HOPE Has Been Delayed Due to Ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic

Although The Dark Pictures: Little Hope was supposed to make its debut at some point this summer, it's no longer the case, as Supermassive Games' next entry in its horror series has been delayed at the last minute.
No concrete release date has been given as of yet, but The Dark Pictures: Little Hope Creative Director Pete Samuels did reveal that the sequel to Man of Medan will now launch this fall. According to Samuels' open letter to fans, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is the main reason why the title has been pushed back.
"Since the COVID 19 crisis hit in March, Supermassive Games has had our 200 strong team working from home," Samuels said. "Our priority, throughout, has been the safety of our team. We have now been working successfully at home for some time, with the entire team committed to delivering the best possible games. With that in mind, it rests with me to make the unfortunate announcement that Little Hope will be delayed past the Summer release already announced, now targeting Fall 2020."
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope obviously isn't the only video game that has had its development process disrupted by COVID-19, as the list of titles delayed due to the deadly virus also includes Ghost of Tsushima, Hellpoint, and the PC version of Death Stranding (among hundreds of smaller [or unannounced] games).
As a reminder, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope won't break the studio's original — and working pretty well — formula, yet again allowing you to decide the fate of five vulnerable characters in the game's story mode that will be playable in both couch & online co-op.
