After years of waiting, Burnout Paradise Remastered has finally made its way to Nintendo Switch, as six more EA-published video games are also coming to the best-selling console in the next 12 months, including Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends. The battle royale juggernaut will arrive on Switch sometime this fall.
When it comes to Burnout Paradise Remastered, the 2018 remaster of the 2008 original is currently priced at $50 on the eShop. Considering that the system is severely lacking in the racing department, Switch fans should keep an eye on the brand-new port (even though the game is simply overpriced at the moment).
Thankfully, Criterion Games' Burnout Paradise Remastered if a full package, featuring not only the critically acclaimed base game, but also eight expansion packs — Legendary Cars and Burnout Bikes included — all "fully optimized for [Switch] in 60 FPS, including pinch-and-pull map control for ease of navigation."
As a friendly reminder, Burnout Paradise Remastered made its debut in March 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (initially exclusively via Origin, but the high-octane game is also available on Steam nowadays).
Without further ado, take a closer look at the explosive launch trailer for the Nintendo Switch port of Burnout Paradise Remastered (alongside the action-packed 8 High-Octane Truths video) down below:
The multi-million selling Burnout franchise races onto Nintendo Switch for the first time ever. Make action your middle name as you rule the open streets of Paradise City, in Burnout Paradise Remastered. Test the limits of skill and endurance as you push the boundaries of speed itself. Hurtle through hectic downtown avenues to wild mountain roads. Smash through traffic, wreck your opponents, and use the open city to find shortcuts. Leave your friends in the dust and define your route to victory – or crash out in spectacular and devastating effect.
Burnout Paradise Remastered is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Origin and Steam).
