Free Update Brings Co-Op to GREEN HELL Story Mode; Console Versions Will Arrive by the End of 2020
Warsaw-based developer Creepy Jar has some fantastic news for all fans of the studio's first — and highly popular — survival game Green Hell, as you can enjoy its brand-new co-op mode with up to three other players even in the story mode. As a friendly reminder, you can also enjoy the ARK: Survival Evolved-esque project together with your friends in its "proper" multiplayer mode, which made its debut two months ago.
Although Green Hell is already a huge open-world title that allows you do put your survival skills to the test in many ways, the team is planning to constantly update its smashing hit throughout the year (and beyond).
First of all, fresh achievements and structures will be available for Green Hell by the end of the month, giving you a chance to "build new stands in your camp using bamboo logs, sticks, leaves, stones and more."
Furthermore, Green Hell's first PvE game mode will arrive at some point between the beginning of July and end of September. Unfortunately, that's the only thing we know about this next step in the game's evolution.
Finally, Green Hell will launch on PS4 and Xbox One in Q4 2020, with its Switch version releasing at a later date (it was supposed to hit stores in Q2 2020, but it has seemingly been delayed yet again). It's also worth remembering that Incuvo — makers of Layers of Fear VR — are still working on a VR port of Green Hell.
Green Hell is a sweltering struggle for survival in the Amazonian rainforest. Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on the body but also the mind. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown?
Green Hell is currently available on PC (via Steam).
